Shipping an MVP is only the beginning. For PrognoSmart, the transition from demo web app to structured pilot programmes has been the most instructive phase of our product journey — revealing what users need, what clinicians expect, and where AI assistance adds the most value.

What we learned from early users

Our community of 4,000+ users and 100+ pilot participants highlighted three consistent themes:

  • Guidance during capture — users want real-time feedback on image quality before submitting tongue or eye photos
  • Clear result communication — risk scores and confidence levels must be explained in plain language, with explicit next-step guidance
  • Doctor-ready summaries — clinicians prefer structured reports they can review quickly during telehealth or in-person visits

Shaping Dr. AI and the patient experience

Dr. AI evolved from a simple symptom chatbot into a medical-assistance agent that handles intake, triage support, and summary generation. Pilot feedback drove improvements to conversation flow, escalation paths for elevated-risk results, and integration with the doctor review dashboard.

On the patient side, we refined family profile management, follow-up monitoring reminders, and the visual design of screening results — reducing anxiety while maintaining clinical seriousness.

What's next

We are incorporating pilot insights into the next product release, with expanded validation against our growing image dataset and deeper partnerships with Canadian healthcare networks. Our goal remains the same: a product that patients trust, clinicians endorse, and partners can deploy at scale.
